Newby Sponsors New Football Kit For Killinghall Nomads Junior U8’s Team

Newby, an experienced developer based in Harrogate, is supporting local Under 8’s football team, the Killinghall Nomads, by sponsoring their new football kit.

With numerous developments currently underway throughout Harrogate and North Yorkshire, Newby is supporting this local initiative by funding the new kit to support the Under 8s team.

Killinghall Nomads Junior Football Club (JFC) trains many teams of children of all ages and abilities, from under 7 and 8’s through to under 16’s. Qualified Football Association coaches are on hand at each training session and game to provide education and support as well as to ensure the children enjoy themselves. The Club has been established for 30 years and is a long standing part of the lives of many families in the Killinghall community and throughout the Harrogate district.

Nick Moody, Director at Newby said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the Killinghall Nomads and their Junior Under 8’s team by sponsoring their new kit. It’s been a pleasure to provide this funding to the team and we look forward to seeing their journey to becoming league champions!”

Jamie Harrison, Assistant Club Manager for the Killinghall Nomads said: “The boys are really enjoying playing in their new kit and we’d like to say a big thank you to Newby for sponsoring it. A new football kit is a significant cost for the club and without companies like Newby we wouldn’t have been able to provide this for the team. All the boys are extremely excited to be stepping out in their new kit for a summer packed full of match fixtures.”

Club Manager and Committee Member Darren Casey added: “Killinghall Nomads JFC, in comparison to other Harrogate based junior football clubs, is a relatively small club. We rely very heavily on fundraising, donations and sponsorship especially with the costs of facility hire and equipment going up year on year. Sponsorship like this is so valuable and we’re hugely grateful to Newby for their support of the club and particularly the U8s team.”
